Three Subclasses, and a Question About Horns

Today the three Crossroads Daemon subclasses got faces: the Collector, the Hell-Broker and the Freelancer.

Which meant finally settling something that had been bothering me for a week. Every tiefling I drew had different horns. Not slightly different - different species. If the class is built on inherited blood, then the horns are the inheritance, and having them change between pages quietly undoes the thing the text spends three chapters establishing.

So I spent a morning on horns. I read the Player's Handbook again, pulled every reference I could find, and compared three styles: the official low swept-back shape, a tall vertical, and a heavy crown that sits low across the brow and sweeps out before turning up.

I went with the crown, for two reasons. It is closer to what the official art is reaching for than it first looks. And it is the arrangement that makes sense on something that fights standing upright - a buck's antlers are built around lowering the head, and these are not.

I want to know what you think. Poll is on the forum.
