I Drew the Signpost Myself

Ninety percent of today went on the Crossroads signpost, and I ended up doing most of it by hand in Photoshop.
The problem was the text. Every generated version had the lettering facing the viewer, which meant it was upside down and backwards to the woman standing in the scene reading it. Nobody would consciously notice. Everybody would feel that something was wrong.
Also settled the spell circle costs, using the old Ultima Online progression as the spine: 0, 6, 9, 11, 14, 20, 35, 45 across the eight circles. Those numbers survived twenty years of patching by people who cared a great deal. Borrowing them is not laziness, it is respect for playtesting I did not have to do.
