ArcoMage Discord Bot — Terms of Service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
1. Acceptance
By inviting, interacting with, or using the ArcoMage Discord bot ("the Bot") in any Discord server, you ("the User") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.
2. The service
The Bot provides community-management features for the official ArcoMage Discord server and any other server that voluntarily invites it. Features may include: role assignment for Kickstarter backers, welcome and onboarding flows, anti-raid moderation, and rules enforcement. Features may change or be removed at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Bot to:
- violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines;
- harass, threaten, dox, or impersonate other users;
- distribute spam, malware, scams, or unsolicited advertising;
- exploit, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the Bot's moderation features;
- impersonate the ArcoMage team, the Bot, or any official channel.
4. Termination
We reserve the right to remove the Bot from any server, block any user, or refuse service for any reason — most commonly violations of Section 3, Discord ToS violations, or threats to server security.
5. Liability disclaimer
The Bot is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The ArcoMage project is not liable for any damages, losses, or disruptions arising from the Bot's use, downtime, errors, or misconfiguration. Use of the Bot is at your own risk.
6. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in the official ArcoMage Discord server. Continued use of the Bot after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Contact
Questions, complaints, or data requests: admin@arcomage.org.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the ArcoMage project's operator is resident. Any dispute will first be addressed in good faith via the contact email in Section 7.
